Tien Phuoc Group Innovations Hub

Innovations Hub

Innovations Hubensures every proposal is evaluated through theProblem · Solution · Benefitsframework before implementation is approved.

Innovations Hub is the centralised intake for every technology and digital-transformation request from across the group — initiatives that create business value, not just IT improvements.

Why it exists

Why Innovations Hub exists

Two foundational principles shape how Innovations Hub works — make sure no idea slips through, while keeping IT investment deliberate and concentrated.

Goal 01

Every proposal is taken seriously

All creative, innovative, and improvement-oriented proposals are reviewed and considered.

Goal 02

IT resources are spent with intent

Group IT resources are deployed deliberately to deliver real outcomes — never piecemeal.

Strategic context

Four pillars TPG prioritises for investment

These are the four long-term directions for group technology investment. Proposals aligned with one of the pillars are prioritised, but alignment is not required.

01

Strengthen security and data safety

02

Unlock enterprise knowledge and build a data platform

03

Rebuild and optimise existing processes

04

Equip employees with skills for the digital era and new ways of working

Centerpiece

A 6-step process

From the moment a department submits a request to the moment IT Delivery picks it up — transparent, predictable, and measurable within four weeks.

Intake & assessment

Requests in, initial screening

  1. Bước 01: Receive the request

Capture requests from departments via a standardised form/channel.

  2. Bước 02: Feasibility assessment

Technology and the proposing team run an initial analysis and feasibility assessment.

Build the proposal

Clarify and package the proposal

  1. Bước 03: Clarify the request

Work in detail with the requesting team to clarify and sharpen the requirement.

  2. Bước 04: Build the proposal

Compose a complete project proposal — objectives, scope, and expected benefits.

Decide & deliver

Go / No-Go and hand-off

  1. Bước 05: Go / No-Go decision

IT and the proposing team decide Go/No-Go together. Escalate to the TPRE CEO when an initiative is worthwhile but exceeds IT's available resources.

  2. Bước 06: Hand over to delivery

Hand the approved proposal to IT Delivery for implementation.

Step 05 · Decision mechanism

IT and the proposing team decide Go / No-Go together

Completed proposal
Output from Step 04
YES
IT + proposing team decide Go / No-Go
No upstream approval required
OVER
Escalate to TPRE CEO for approval
Only when an initiative is worthwhile but needs resources beyond IT's capacity

Evaluation criteria

The Problem · Solution · Benefits framework

Innovations Hub evaluates every proposal through a Problem – Solution – Benefits lens. These are business initiatives — not IT-only innovations.

Problem

Which business problem does this proposal address? Who is affected, and what does doing nothing cost?

People affected Scale of impact Current cost

Solution

What is the proposed approach, how broad is its scope, and why is this the right answer to the problem?

Approach Scope Alternatives considered

Benefits

The concrete business value delivered — quantified where possible, qualitative where necessary.

Quantified ROI Qualitative gains

Supporting attributes captured for every proposal

Priority
High / Medium / Low — based on impact and urgency.
Resources required
Headcount, budget, time-to-deliver.
Strategic pillar
Alignment with one of TPG's four strategic pillars (not required).

What you receive

What the proposing team gets back

When the process ends, what comes back to you isn't just a decision — it's three concrete deliverables.

A clear write-up of objectives, scope, and expected benefits — ready for approval.

Output 02

Prioritisation recommendation

Recommended sequencing in light of group resourcing and roadmap.

Output 03

Go / No-Go dossier

Everything the TPRE CEO needs to approve or defer the initiative.

Ready to start?

Send us your idea — through one of two channels

The standardised intake form ships in the next phase. Until then, every idea reaches Innovations Hub through one of the two channels below.

Whichever channel you use, your idea runs through the same 6-step process and the same Problem · Solution · Benefits framework — there's no shortcut, and not every request gets built on demand.
